This fund has been established so that gifts may be given to the Library to honor a friend or relative, mark a special occasion or as a memorial tribute. These gifts are used for the Spring Endowment Fund Lecture, the purchase of materials or to fund a special project.
You may make a contribution to the Fund by filling out a form in the Library or online, by printing the form and mailing it to the Library. The name of the person honored or memorialized will be recorded, along with your name as donor in the Endowment Fund Book on display in the Library. Individuals, families or friends in whose name a donation has been made will receive an acknowledgment.
All contributions to the Endowment Fund are tax deductible. |

The Friends of the Rockville Centre Library is an association of people interested in books, libraries, and people. Friends' members share many common goals. They believe in fostering the growth, development, and use of the Library. They endeavor to focus public attention on the Library needs as well as highlight their many worthwhile services to the community. They strive to enrich the resources of the Library so that it may continue to serve the preschooler to the retiree.
Your membership in the Friends of the Rockville Centre Public Library helps us to continue our support of many worthwhile library programs. These include the very successful Children's and Young Adult Summer Reading Programs and the Library to Your Door Program which benefits residents who are unable to make the trip to the library.
The Friends of the Library is pleased to be sponsoring the very popular Museum Pass Program. Please check at the reference desk for information.
Our membership form (pdf) is available online. We always welcome new members. |
