Teen volunteering is open to teens entering grades 7-12 who are RVC cardholders.
Tween volunteering is for incoming 6th graders who are RVC cardholders.

Get ready to help out and have fun. You can choose from the volunteer activities below -- those that interest YOU. Even if you will be away for part of the summer, you can still participate. The only requirement is that you work at least 4 sessions. For more information and to sign up see Mrs. Ain or Ms. Erin @ the Adult Reference Desk, June 16 – July 1.

Orientation and T-Shirt Distribution
This orientation tells you what you need to know so you can work successfully @ the Library. You will also receive your official volunteer T-shirt which you will wear when you volunteer.

You must attend one of these sessions:
Tuesday, July 1 @ 6:30 pm
or
Wednesday, July 2 @ 11 am

Teen Volunteer Opportunities for 7-12th graders
Mornings	Evenings
Book Buddies @ 9:45 - 11:15 am Wednesdays: July 9 - August 6 Fridays: July 11 - August 8 Read aloud to young children.	Book Buddies @ 6:45 - 7:45 pm Wednesdays: July 9 - August 6 Thursdays: July 10 - August 7 Read aloud to young children.
Tech Team - Computer Tutors @ 10:00 - 11:30 am Mondays: July 7 - August 4 Teach basic computer skills to adults in our community. Orientation sessions for new tutors will be held @ 10:00 am prior to each session .	Teen Helpers @ 6:45 - 8:15 pm Mondays: July 7 - August 11 Assist with Children's Programs.
Tech Team - Pod Squad @ 10:00 - 11:30 am Tuesdays: July 15 and July 22 If you enjoy using new technology you can teach adults how to use their cell phones, iPods, cameras, etc. Orientation will be held @ 10:00 am prior to each session.
