Volunteering @ the RVC Library • Summer 2010 For RVC cardholders entering grades 7-12 Get ready to help out and have fun!
You can choose from the volunteer activities below. Even if you are away for part of the summer, you can still participate. The only requirement is that you work at least 4 sessions. Sign up in person beginning on Monday, June 14 . For information and to sign up, see Mrs. Ain or Mrs. Erin @ the Adult Reference Desk.
ORIENTATION and T-Shirt Distribution for Volunteers Learn what you need to know to volunteer @ the Library. You will receive your official volunteer T-shirt. You must attend one of these sessions: Wednesday, June 30 @ 6:30pm or Tuesday, July 6 @ 11am
BOOK BUDDIES - Read aloud with young children
Morning Sessions: Wednesdays: July 7–August 11 @ 9:45-11:15 Fridays: July 9-August 13 @ 9:45-11:15		Evening Sessions: Wednesdays:July 7–August 11 @ 6:45-8:15 Thursdays: July 8–August 12 @ 6:45-8:15
TEEN HELPERS - Assist at children’s programs
Games & more Help at Monday night Children’s programs Mondays: July 12–August 16 @ 6:45 - 8:15pm	*Bubble Fun* Tuesday, July 6 @ 2-3pm (rain date: Friday, July 9 @ 2pm)	Lego Club Build Lego creations with young children. Wednesdays: July 7, 21, August 4, 11 @ 4-5:15pm
TECH TEAM - Teach adults to use computers and electronic devices Tuesdays: July 13 - August 10 @ 10:30am - noon
